Poly-Tech began in 1962 with one machine in the basement of our home. It soon moved to the small corner of a warehouse. Poly-Tech started out making small precision components for aero-space, computers, and then for military hardware.

While we realized it was necessary for a free country to have a strong defense and to help other countries stay free, it was becoming increasingly difficult to make parts destined to kill or mame other humans.

With this in mind we started making parts for toys, typewriters, autoes, etc. In 1988 we started manufacturing a quick change chuck for power drills. We began developing a system of tools for quick change adaptation. In the last few years there has been a proliferation of tools from many sources which has affirmed our decision.
